Living & Studying in Sydney
Australia has been a popular choice with overseas students for many years. Australian education standards are high, and the courses and facilities at Australia's leading universities offer a rewarding and valuable international study experience.
Australia is a safe, friendly and politically stable English-speaking environment in which to live, study and travel. As international interest focuses on the cultures and economic dynamism of Asia and the Pacific, Australia's economic and political role is recognised as a key element in the region's future.
Sydney is the largest, oldest and most beautifully situated city in Australia. It is a major business centre, and the main Australian port of call for international airlines. Over 4 million people live in this exciting, cosmopolitan city, which offers more entertainment, shopping and sightseeing than any other place in Australia.

Penn could pay for a gym membership
It was an amazing program, but Penn should pay for our facilities that we pay for at our home school...like gym membership.
UNSW is great
UNSW is great. DO NOT DO BUTLER, it is a huge waste of $5000. It's the worst thing ever, they charge you so much and dont do anything. It's completely unnecessary to do a program like Butler's. The UNSW study abroad office is great, very helpful. And all it costs is a $60 application fee.
I really enjoyed my program. The orientation that IES put on was very comprehensive and really helped me get to know my city. I loved the university I studied at and living on campus was excellent. I made lots of Aussie friends and had lots of time to explore and travel.
I had the best time. I lived on the beach for 4 months and had the freedom to travel and go out every night. The Australian people are fun and welcoming. UNSW is very nurturing and their study abroad office handles any problem that may occur.
